Visited The Brooks Café in Lidcombe and was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem nestled within an estate. The café offers a calm, cosy atmosphere with a lovely outdoor terrace complete with heaters — perfect for a relaxed brunch catch-up. I tried the pandan coconut waffle, which was light, fragrant, and just sweet enough without being overwhelming. I also had the creamy mushrooms on sourdough, which were rich, well-seasoned, and satisfying — a great savoury option. Both were complemented by a smooth cup of The Grounds coffee, which added to the overall experience. Dishes are fairly priced, devours and well presented.
